SassyMedia is a media production company founded
by writer/director Stephanie Higgins in 2003 in Boston,
Massachusetts. The recipient of the 2000 EVVY award for
best video for her thesis film Drive Thru Love,
Higgins’ passion for the power of storytelling drives
the company’s mission of creating media that makes
a difference. SassyMedia’s success exploded in 2005
with its first film and Higgins’ directorial debut
The
Gay Marriage Thing. After screening at
film festivals nationwide, the film won distribution
through New York’s premiere educational distributor
The
Cinema Guild mere months after its completion. SassyMedia’s
corporate clients include the innovative speaker giant Bose
Corporation and renowned children’s publisher
Candlewick
Press. The company’s main office is located in
Belmont, Massachusetts between the home of Harvard University
and the iconic, history-rich city of Boston.
